Whats the name of your handmade business and how did you come up with the name?
My project name is Easypeasyplay - easy for babies and toddlers to interact and play.
  

How did you get into crafting?

This project started watching my granddaughter Alice playing in her highchair and toys falling on the floor.

       

What kinds of things do you like to make?

I like knitting and crochet 

       

What kinds of materials do you use?

The polyester felt for the playmat.

 

What new crafts do you want to try?

Quilting 

What is your favourite craft tool?

Pinking shears finish the playmat off 

 

What is your favourite Tactile Treasure supply?

Polyester felt as its great quality and importantly child safe

 

What's one of the favourite things you've made?

I've crocheted blankets for all my grandchildren.

What are some of your favourite things to do in your spare time?

Spending quality time with all my family in Hull and abroad.

 

 What advice would you give to people just starting out on the UKCA/CE marking journey?

Don’t be overwhelmed by it all , achieve your goal it’s worth keeping our little ones safe

 

What's the hardest thing about running a handmade business?

Getting your product noticed.

What inspires your designs? 

My design is to make life easier for mums and enjoyable, calming and interaction play for babies and toddlers 

 

Whats ahead for Easypeasyplay in 2022?

Hopefully more sales.
