One year ago today Tactile Treasures Limited was incorporated.
The year has gone so quickly although we didn’t officially start trading until August 8th at 5pm when the website went live. Or was it officially 45 minutes later when we had our first sale. Time is going so quickly as the business evolves.
The business was originally set up as an extension of Sew Cool For Kids. This has quickly developed into something bigger than just catering for the needs of the UK and EU Soft Toy market. To a certain extent we where unaware of the additional areas that our products can be used for including special needs and dementia/stroke suffers. The craft shows that we have attended has certainly helped in the growth and assisting us in understanding this much larger market that we have available. We are trying to attend as many as craft shows as possible so you can see the products first hand. Check our Events page for an up to date list of when and where we will be.
We are always open to suggestions and as the business grows we have decided to open a group named Tactile Treasures Support Network on Facebook. It’s a closed group but we will include all the EN71 certificates and other vital information on there including sharing your ideas and suggestions. It will work along side our Facebook page . This page will still be used to let you know what we are doing and where we are going.
