Collection: Teethers

At Tactile Treasures we have a range of EVA plastic BPA free baby teethers to help make your items both unique and professional looking. They are currently available in up to ten colours (see each individual type for availability). We have three types of teether. The corner teether is the only sew on teether and this can be attached on any fabric toy with a 90-degree angle. Sew in teethers are designed to be sewn between two pieces of fabric and ribbon attached is as simple as it sounds – attach the teether by ribbon and sew the ribbon to your toy.

Although we originally intended these for soft toys it has become apparent that they are as equally suitable for other purposes too. We have sold many of the range to make twiddle muffs (or blankets) for people suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s as they have a valuable tactile sensory feel to help stimulate the mind. They can also be used for people on the Autistic Spectrum.

These items are all components and not to be given as a stand-alone toy.

Buy with confidence as all our products have passed the EN71 Toy Safety Directive Tests and been independently tested in a leading UK based laboratory. If you make to sell we can supply you with the relevant certificates. Once attached to your toy, the toy as a whole needs to undergo your own product CE testing.

Washing Instructions

The plastic teether range have been tested to be washed on a 30 degree wash only and a cool tumble setting only, otherwise the excessive heat will distort the plastic teether. Best practice is to air dry any product fitted with a plastic teether.

Please note the bulk purchase discounts only apply to the same design and colour. For example, 5 red corner teethers will reduce the unit price, however, 3 red and 2 yellow will not.
